Inside Prague’s old town square, through the alleys surrounding the TYN church, in late 2016, a group of people heard the call of the jungle and gathered to create the incredible sound of La Cumbia Cooperativa. The unique and phenomenal Cumbia Cooperativa will make you experience an abnormally deafening show and a promiscuously emotional party. Let yourself be pampered in the waves of Latin America and arrive to the most posh space imaginable.
The unique and phenomenal Cumbia Cooperativa will make you experience an abnormally deafening show and a promiscuously emotional party. Let yourself be pampered in the waves of Latin America and arrive to the most posh space imaginable.
Among their favorite genres, the most important is La Cumbia, a perfect mix between Afro-Caribbean percussions and indigenous melodies, which makes you unconsciously dance, characterized by the galloping sound of the güira and the velvet beats of the conga and tumbadera. There are also scents of other Caribbean rhythms such as salsa and merengue throughout the production, which are congenial with the mountainous aromas of tropical Andean rhythms such as chicha and huayno. With two studio album under their belt La Nueva Era (2019) and Wena Washo (2020) La Cumbia Cooperativa has performed with some of the best international bands in their genre, such as, Chico Trujillo (CHI), Las manos de Fillippi (ARG), Anarkia Tropical (CHI) and in numerous concerts of local and international scene as, Krásný Ztráty Live (2019), Futurum Music Bar, Grill music fest El Arriero, Fania Live @Vienna, Žlutý Karavan, among others

Description
"Washo", "huacho" or "guacho", all the variants literally mean "bastard" or "orphan", but in the everyday language of the southern cone it is a loving way of addressing colleagues, it is a similar to "bro" or "sis". So Wena Washo!
